I get they don't want to litigate every suspension but when they suspend completely anodyne accounts who aren't going around suggesting we firebomb Walmarts or calling people slurs or whatever, what are we supposed to think?

So saying "we did it because of content, not identity" -- sure, but the content doesn't seem to be a problem to any website that values free communication?

The thing is, we don't know, and nobody can remember her saying something, for instance, violent, or whatever, that would make people say, "okay, I get why that suspension happened."

Saying, "we didn't suspend her because she researched authoritarian states, we suspended her because she talked about her research"....that's a bizarre distinction.

If you suspended her because of something else, it would be useful to know.

And most of it is not for US human consumption! We export 20% of our corn, half of our soybean and seeds. The rest?

Most of it becomes oil, animal feed or….ETHANOL.
