I'm sad to share that the trans vet that took her life outside the VA last week was apparently Elisa Rae Shupe.

She's someone many of us know - she was responsible for the mass email leak that let us know how the ADF, Heritage, etc planned to enact trans eradication we see today.

RIP Elisa.

I like to pride myself on my optimism, but it's been hard to keep that up. Lately it has been difficult to ignore the realization that the people in power are terrible, hateful people and me and my friends are at risk of being arrested or killed for being queer. I'm scared. But I'll fight anyway.

Banning tik tok is not the move the government thinks it is. This is being used as a means of silence but do they not realize that ridding the app that makes people zombies means peoples eyes will be more open to injustices and more likely to act bc they're not scrolling for 6 hours
