I hope the democrats can realize the power of their huge, diverse, tent and have the courage to let each state, each city, each neighborhood… to realize its own path, its own branding, its own union of ideals, and choose to break the duopoly… by breaking its own monopoly.

Like social security taxes for retirement and disability etc, we could have a relatively small federal education tax, applied to both profits (corporations), and income (actual human individuals), to support a universal, attendance-based, support of K-16; public schools, colleges, and universities.
