The PWHL has commenced a waiver period in accordance with the league’s training camp timeline prior to final roster compliance.
Teams must submit their final rosters to the league by 5:00 p.m. ET on Nov. 27.

PWHL teams that take a penalty are not allowed to make a change until after the ensuing faceoff. That means if a defender takes a penalty, the PK will then start with the three forwards and one defender that was on the ice at the time of the whistle.

The PWHL announces it will now apply a game misconduct and major penalty for ALL illegal checks to the head by default.
The penalty can be reviewed to be confirmed afterwards, reduced to a minor, or removed entirely.
