My dad would have been 94 today. Happy birthday, dad.

Obviously this is horrifying. But let’s not slide into the complacency of thinking it’s only horrific because of the family’s citizenship. It would be no less egregious were they not citizens. Let’s not go down that slippery slope.

Today I am 64.

Another year gone by.

I unequivocally condemn murder. But can I just say how refreshing it is to have CNN relentlessly focused on the manhunt for the CEO killer, rather than continuing to sanewash the incoming administration. It’s like the old days when the network did weeks-long coverage of airline crashes. Good times.
