i also think that thinking in a particular language allows you to feel certain kinds of feelings. words in languages feel certain ways to say, and this is a bit like music - the buildup matters

being highly multilingual means having fewer mis-transmits - e.g. brazilian-japanese friend in tokyo once asked me "do you want to probe this food" and my brain quickly did "probe -> probar -> try", which enabled conversation floww
