Look, I don't like it either, but if you look at the patterns among everyone's powerbottom exes over the past ten years you'll see that it makes sense.

Thinking on it, I guess not that much time had passed since the era when the kids with learning disabilities / in special ed. classes / etc. would've had barely any contact with their age peers at all, typically, so I get that the culture around not being shitty here was still in progress.

Thinking back on that time it is gobsmacking how everyone went along with using that word as a go-to insult.

Like, that some kids would use comparisons to the disabled among them who are at the bottom of the pecking order, sure, not surprising, but the way it was accepted by everyone is just gross.

The solution the person I'm asking for had been using, when she needed to export to Excel, was to just do the initial work in Google Sheets, but she's been trying to move away from that for reasons that I imagine are obvious.

I find that taking them through methods a bit different from officially prescribed helps with emotional fragility, for whatever it's worth. I don't know how common that is.

Oh, I think I told you I was going to buy that, but I lied. Apparently I bought it last year!

(Along with some sort of death clock?)

Your bookstore is very good, and people should say it, yes!
