Mostly Apple and sports, but politics will come up as well.
A year ago, when moving back to.NYC, I bought a pedal assist e-bike with a limited range, but the bike looked very cool. I wanted to ride further, but the range was limiting and the bike was heavy.

A few weeks ago, I sold that bike and bought an actual road bike.

Only a few rides in, but I love it

One of the best things about iPadOS 26 is the windowing mode with a keyboard attached.

You can basically run iPhone sized versions of apps across the screen and leave them open and visible.

Definitely what multitasking on the iPad should have always been.

The windowing for iPadOS is what Stage Manager should have been.

This is a great way to make the iPad much more useful, especially with a Magic Keyboard.

I will never understand why web forms disable copy and paste for bank account numbers.

Too many damn numbers to type in twice.

Just let me cut and paste and give you my money.

I've been using Overcast for years.

The subscription increase is more than reasonable, but I suspect people are going to throw a fit about it regardless.

I've been a big fan of Tapestry and am super glad to see it almost out in the world.

Really hope Threads can be integrated at some point in the future.

I got this cold email from a cleaning company to my work email today.

I'm not sure how I feel about it….

This annoying chart gave me so much anxiety in 2016 & 2020..

… yet here I am again in 2024 doing it all over again.

I've been running iOS 18 since the summer betas, but never tried the large icons until this morning.

This size is almost comical and makes it look like a toy, but I kind of like it?

We'll see how long I can stand it.

Apparently the larger Apple Watch with the black stainless steel band was very popular or they have supply issues as my order still hasn't shipped.

I like how it's very obvious in my health trends when we moved back to New York City.

Being able to walk everywhere is such a fantastic benefit.

I always appreciate being "early" to things strictly for vanity reasons.
I've definitely been neglecting here as a lot of people I still want to read are on Twitter and haven't made the move to Threads/Mastodon.

Obviously, I’m an Apple Music person, so I don’t have a Spotify Wrapped, but I do have Apple Replay.

I tend to skew towards pop music as I usually just have music on while working, and not focusing on it directly.

This clearly lead to a lot of T-Swift this year, which I’m not mad about.

I love when these maps come up and I always do them because they’re such a good visual.

I’ve got a lot of the US covered, but I still need a lot of the Midwest and Middle America.

We’ve got a lot of Western Europe, but Eastern Europe is definitely on our list.

Anytime a national broadcast shows the Art Museum during a game in Philly, I always think about the time I drove my Mustang to the top of the steps.

Super fun to do it, but I don’t think you’re able to do it any longer.

I was a big Florida Marlins fan growing up, strictly because they had cool colors.

The current iteration of the Marlins franchise has taken a few wrong turns on their recent uniform strategy and would do well to go back to their original identity.

Pretty sure the entire reason to take the train is to avoid the congestion, not get into congestion on the rails….

Took a walk on the new Moynihan connector to the High Line today.

Excellent addition to what was already a great piece of NYC infrastructure.

White iPhone 15 Pro from a (dirty) purple iPhone 14 Pro.

I like the white but I’ll miss the color of the purple.

Pretty sure you’re sitting on the MacBook Air you’re saying is no longer with us, iPhone.

Completely forgot about the MacOS Sonoma beta ability to add a web app as a dock application.

Now, Threads as a standalone Mac app.

Hello Threads on the web.

Now, bring on ActivityPub.

I don’t use blocking very much on social media apps, but getting rid of the blocking feature is such a kick in the face of any marginalized group.

Blocking is an essential feature to ensuring a platform is even moderately accessible.

I’m a huge @UniWatch fan so I pay weird attention to sports uniforms overall, but I think we can all agree the @Phillies powder blue uniforms are some of the best in the game.

I still can’t believe he actually went through with this.
