Mostly Apple and sports, but politics will come up as well.
Absolutely wild that even with the incredible amount of tourists that flock to New York City for each holiday, the city still feels empty because of how many New Yorkers leave the city.

Even though they've won their two Suoer Bowls in the Midnight Green, I think we can all agree it's time for the Philadelphia Eagles to switch to Kelly Green full time again.

A halal plate of chicken, rice, and French fries from a street vendor will never not be a top tier New York City meal.

It never ceases to amaze me when progressives call for something and conservatives are like
"But what about (popular Democrat)?"

For example, if Bill Clinton & 378 others are in the Epstein Files, they should be prosecuted and jailed just like everyone else

We don't worship politicians over here

I really wish there was a viable alternative to the Democratic Party.

How pathetic is the party by rolling over for a "promise" by the Republicans?

We all know Republicans lie about everything.

It's way past time for a generational change in leadership for the Democrats.

I don't think I've ever used the physical titanium Apple Card, but I just got my new one and the packaging was super nice.

Easy NFC activation and an envelope to send back the old one.

I really like having this card.

Even though I haven’t been there in a number of years, Hop Sing Laundromat still remains my favorite bar I’ve ever been to.

It still baffles me how quickly Republicans abandoned the candidate that won the Republican nomination so easily for a disgraced Democrat.
See how your neighborhood voted for mayor with THE CITY's interactive map:

Zohran Mamdani is the next Mayor of New York City.

Cuomo got his ass whooped and Sliwa wasn't even in the margin of error.

Cannot wait until a true progressive is the mayor of NYC.

I've been impressed overall with the iPhone Air's main camera, but it's definitely lacking in some areas.

Pleasant side affect of that is that I'm bringing my full frame Sony with me more often and I love the pictures I'm getting with that.

I will never understand why paying off a mortgage does such damage to your credit report.

"Thank you for paying off this gigantic loan. We're now going to make it harder for you to get another loan."

I've seen three people so far this morning using "hunt and peck" typing with one finger on their phone, rather than thumb typing.

Is this something that is more common than I thought? Seems odd.

Just like I think that everyone should have to work in a service job when they're younger in order to build empathy, I think everyone should be required to live in a city in order to understand and appreciate diversity.

I'm so sick of these redneck white people ruining everything.

No Apple, I do not want to capitalize "the weekend" when referring to things that happened on Saturday and Sunday.

In the span of 15 seconds in the first episode of Task, they mention scrapple, stopping at the Acme, and "wooder" ice.

I really hope this show gets even more Delco as it goes on.

Seeing Kerkering throw that ball away seems like the end of this Phillies era just like Ryan Howard tearing his Achilles was the end of that Phillies era.

Something that I cannot imagine happening in too many cities besides NYC

A giant sukkah on the back of a trailer, with a group of Jewish men handing out a bundle of branches, but they're not sure who is Jewish, so they're hesitantly offering them to people while speaking Hebrew

A very NYC moment.

I cannot describe how much I love the fact that the Phillies are wearing their powder blue uniforms in LA.

Rode my bike over the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges today.

I like the ride over the Manhattan Bridge much better, but the Brooklyn Bridge bike lane is so much better now that they moved it to the road level.

I took the iPhone Air when I went cycling last week and it almost shook off of my mount since it's so thin.

Went and picked up the Apple MagSafe case today and it definitely makes the phone bulky enough for the mount but totally defeats the purpose of this phone.

Staying caseless overall.

Absolutely wild that the US has created and promoted a viable career path for violent racists.

Join the military and then enter into law enforcement, specifically ICE.

Says a lot about a country when this pipeline exists and is celebrated.

One of the things that really bothers me about conservatives is how unwilling they are to change language after they're told things are incorrect or outdated.

Like pronouncing Kamala Harris name, using "illegal aliens," and bringing back the R word.

They're just hateful.
October 1, 2025 at 3:52 PM
I feel like the MagSafe circle on the back of so many iPhone cases over the last few years was a huge marketing win for Apple

Changing up the cases to no longer have the circle on the Pro cases seems like a big miss.

It’s so odd to me that conservatives think hiring an American or hire a foreigner are the only options.

If the fees actually are this high, the companies just won’t create the job at all.

So nobody gets that job.
Lutnick: "Either the person is very valuable to the company and America, or they are going to depart and the company is going to hire an American. And that's the point of immigration. Hire Americans and make sure the people coming in are the top top people. Stop the nonsense."

There are many interesting things about getting into cycling, but one of the oddest things is taking a train at 5 am for 90 minutes to go riding for 5 hours back to where I started.

I do get to ride a train thigh, and I do love trains….
