100% agree. I love it when I don’t always agree with a critic. This seems like such a bad omen for arts criticism at the NYT overall.

God, I remember CBS lawyers proudly turning over the footage to the arbitrator saying it would clear them (because she swore on camera or something? The horror.) - and the arbitrator promptly called them out for not recognizing the recordings clearly showed sexual harassment.

I have absolutely no clue what the camera operator was doing during the Floyd Collins number. The extreme close-ups on Jeremy Jordan were jarring - the show uses negative space to evoke the caves, let us see it!

I saw it last Sunday and thought it was just so sweet - Criss is wonderful and Shen is a star in the making. I think the last show that hit me in the heart like that was Hadestown.

Another example: Market Basket in New England. When the board pushed out the popular CEO in '14 (who kept prices low and treated staff very well), employees went on strike AND customers boycotted. And they won!
