Here's an idea for tax reform:

1. stop subsidising gas and coal mining
2. start making them pay their fair share of tax

You can help by adding your name to our petition to increase the PRRT: theaus.in/increasePRRT #auspol
✍️ SIGN: Demand the gas industry pays its fair share. Fix the PRRT!
The government collects more money from HECS than it does from the PRRT. Australians are missing out on important revenue for public services while gas companies make record profits. We need to inc...

Fuck sake
If you paid any tax in 2022-23, you paid more than all of these multinational gas corporations did on $36 BILLION income, exporting Australian gas from QLD.

Really makes you think. #auspol

Labor’s push to ban social media for teens while ignoring the harm of gambling ads is a glaring double standard. Why fast-track unproven social media laws but sideline gambling ad reform—something over 70% of Australians support?

Anthony Albanese and Mark Dreyfus have failed whistleblowers and Australians. It’s been left to the crossbench (Pocock, Lambie, Haines & Wilkie) to introduce a Bill to strengthen Australia's whistleblower protection laws and establish a Whistleblower Protection Authority. 🤷‍♂️ #auspol

Today I introduced this in Parliament. It’s time the Big Tech giants were made to manage their algorithms to make our online experience safe, time we stopped asking users and parents to be the solution to social media harm. The operators of these platforms should step up. My Bill would achieve that.

Gutless from Govt.

There’s a clear path through parliament for gambling advertising reform with support of crossbench - even the coalition to a point.

Why won’t they prioritise an issue that’s so important to our communities & protecting young people?

I’m very hopeful we can help him recover and give him hope again.
