The United States is now a country whose government—and too many citizens—openly celebrate concentration camps. This is not my America. Maybe the version I remember may have never existed in the first place.

This ⬇️ is leadership, which is something the current administration wouldn’t understand because they’re too busy enriching themselves and their billionaire buddies.
I said my main goal of this trip was to meet with Kilmar. Tonight I had that chance. I have called his wife, Jennifer, to pass along his message of love. I look forward to providing a full update upon my return.

The hubris of pernicious, stupid people in this administration will never cease to amaze me.
So WH Press Secretary just asked do we trust Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth or do we trust @jeffreygoldberg.bsky.social

Easy answer. I trust my eyes, I trust my ears, I trust my intelligence.

I TRUST JEFFREY GOLDBERG ALL DAY AND EVERY DAY OVER HEGSETH.

The liberal circular firing squad under this post is both predictable & maddening. Blaming Democrats/Biden for what's happening today is stupid. Biden got pushed out. Harris/Walz did their best. If you want to blame anyone, blame the Biden voters who flipped or stayed home. Don't blame Joe.
📸 @DrBiden just dropped a new pic with @JoeBiden in NYC, captioned: “Date Night.”

Man, I miss them.

Corporate America truly hates Americans.

How the hell did we end up with such incompetence in charge? How!!!
Judge: This action is blatantly unconstitutional

DoJ: Which part?

Judge: All of it!

DoJ: No I mean which part of the constitution does it violate?

Judge: ALL OF IT

Whether I believe Bernie Sanders is or ever was the best liberal candidate isn’t the point. It’s the fact that he understands populism unlike any current or potential Democratic Party candidates right now.

I wonder if Americans siding with Russia realize they’re siding with an invading dictator’s army, with intent to take away its sovereignty. And if they’re fine with that, then I wonder if they understand that flies in the face of every American value since the American Revolution.

There is a difference between taking questions and being **actually** transparent vs. bullshitting daily in front of a throng of reporters because your man-baby ego needs constant stroking. I know the difference.

And the press secretary is an unqualified toady. Truly a disgrace to the office.

This cannot be repeated enough.
The battle of our day is no longer about Democrats versus Republicans or left versus right.

The choice right now is democracy or dictatorship. And we're sliding faster than I ever thought possible into the latter.

Everyone must choose which side they’re on. Now.

This guy and his hands, I swear.

Congratulations, America. Middle class Americans are getting fired because of your weird, displaced hatred for "GoVeRnMeNt WoRkErS!" and lust for greedy, a-hole billionaires (who think you're a joke, by the way). And here are your heroes. Gloating over people losing jobs. Awful. Just awful.
Elon Musk waves around a chainsaw at CPAC while Argentinian president Javier Milei gives the thumbs up.

These people are cringe AF and utterly unglued.

EXACTLY! Republicans suddenly grow a spine when they're no longer in a position of influence within their own party. Pence is as much to blame for Trump's rise to dictatorship as all the other right-wing bobbleheads.
Mike Pence is a hypocrite. He should have testified under oath and helped put him in prison.

Isn't that how bibles get written?
True words.

Welp, she found out.
Mr Trump, you were supposed to hurt the other people!

I have a bigger following over on Threads than here. It's not a huge following, but I've had more interaction over there. Lately, though, the MAGAs are coming out in full force, looking for a fight. Even though I block and mute them, I might spend more time over here to get away from the negativity.

I know I'm not the first to point this out, but this is positively insane. Hey, @republicanparty.bsky.social! WHERE THE F - - K ARE YOU ON THIS!!!! Come get your boy before he goes all Dr. Strangelove on us, eh? Unless you're fine with being the ones who break democracy.

We're all watching it happen in real time, yet the Republican Party DGAF because it means more power for them. They are complicit in Trump's 53 days.

Again, this is EXACTLY what American voters—and the mainstream media—wanted. They wanted chaos. You reap what you sow. Accidents happen and it is tragic. Politicizing tragedy is, itself, deeply offensive. Will low-information voters ever see the light? Doubtful. They not-so-secretly love it.
This press conference on the DC crash is an embarrassment. Just a lot of rambling.
