Immigrants ‘plucked out of line’ at citizenship ceremony at Faneuil Hall “the cradle of liberty”.

If you ever claimed you want immigrants to do it the right way, this should outrage you. On the other hand, If you think this was okay, you need to come to terms with your white nationalist views.

Americans have been dragged, tackled, beaten, tased and shot by immigration agents.

They’ve had their necks kneeled on.

They’ve been held outside in the rain while in their underwear.

At least three citizens were pregnant when agents detained them.
More Than 170 U.S. Citizens Have Been Held by Immigration Agents. They’ve Been Kicked, Dragged and Detained for Days.
The government does not track how often immigration agents grab citizens. So ProPublica did. Our tally — almost certainly incomplete — includes people who were held for days without a lawyer. And near...

I’m starting to get the sense that it was a bad idea to put a deeply insecure, sexual assaulting Fox News host with a drinking problem and a crusader tattoo who said he was into war crimes in charge of the military.

If things weren’t bad enough already, Republicans in control of Congress are shutting down the government.

Why? Because Donald Trump opposes making health care more affordable for millions of Americans.

Sing Sing Prison and the Tappan Sea by W.H. Bartlett, 1840 Folks, this is just a short post to direct you to the Sing Sing Prison Museum website where you can learn more about the history of this iconic penitentiary, as well as read three posts I recently wrote for their blog about religion in Sing Sing Prison. [Note that the Museum is on track to open very soon, and in the meantime is offering numerous events to the public as they complete construction on their space in Ossining's historic Olive Opera House.

This isn't over, but this is a huge win.
