Hello new followers! I ...think I was added to a Starter Pack or list somewhere possibly maybe?? Here are a few 'hopeful' themed pieces I've drawn in the past because I think we need it today. ❤️🩹
..I mean, I went to an art college/knew I'd draw for a living (somehow) but specifically getting into games was *out of spite.* An AD at a tshirt silkscreen factory literally said I'd "never make it" and would struggle if I left her and moved to a major city.

I give a portion of my holiday postcards to my parents every year for them to mail out themselves, and they ask for less cards each subsequent year bc their friends/relatives are ...passing from old age, so there's an existential crisis for me to think about 🫠

This week, I've had two outsourcing studios say the style of our unreleased game is refreshing because "it looks like an indie game and doesn't look like all the other AI-generated stuff we keep seeing" so ...that makes me feel relieved.

Seriously love that artists saw someone struggling to draw a difficult face-angle, proceeded to gave 'em helpful references, pointed them towards tools that would be useful, and said "yeah this angle is tough, drawing is hard." Communities ftw ❤️

The "Frieren angle" thing, apart from just being delightful, also completely demolishes the pathetic "AI is democratising art" argument. Someone struggling with a difficult drawing received advice from hundreds of strangers who just wanted to help them improve their art.

Little sibling/kid buddy/non-gamer spouse mode. The 2nd player/controller lets them contribute with an easy background task that helps the 1st controller/player in some way (collecting stars in Mario Galaxy is a great example).

..My doctor is starting a $500/mo subscription outside of insurance costs bc arguing with insurance companies to cover patients is bankrupting his office. I can't afford $1k a month extra for my spouse and myself on top of private insurance so.. now I have to find a new doctor. Broken. System.
