Use this website to see if your local law enforcement has entered into a 287(g) partnership agreement with ICE. It also has resources to advocate against these in your community. And kudos to ME, IL, WA, OR, AK, and CA for having no active agreements in their states. www.ilrc.org/practitioner...

Some stats on Medicaid.

If you're earning more than 133% FPL (138% in states that have expanded Medicaid), you don't qualify for Medicaid in most states. It's based on income regardless of the number of jobs. To give you an idea of the associated MAGI for 2025 ACA www.kff.org/affordable-c...

It seems Maine allows for government entities to request the info for "authorized activities". I hope the statute is very clear about what those activities are, or I'm afraid they may have to turn the info over. www.eac.gov/sites/defaul...

From what I found on Michigan rules, anyone can request this information. But it looks like they only provide names & addresses and it doesn't include party affiliation. Since this is determined by state law, I don't think contacting would make any difference www.eac.gov/sites/defaul...

What confuses me about this is that, shockingly, voter roll information can be available to the public (depending on the state). Maine allows for gov't entities for "authorized activities". Hope that's clearly outlined in statute, or I'm afraid they may have to turn over www.eac.gov/sites/defaul...

Calling you out on messaging again Senator. Agree that tax cuts should not be extended, but please stop referring to them as "billionaire tax cuts". 49% of the benefits of the cuts go to the top 5% of incomes - 320k & up. Point is we're cutting programs & inc the deficit to do it.
