5/It’s a dodge, of course. Trump knew that he could take the publicly popular position on release of the files, watch it pass in Congress & count on his lawyers at DOJ to decline to release files, or at least parts of them he wants withheld, b/c of the new investigation.

2/It happened just days before Trump’s abrupt about-face on the issue of releasing the files. As president, he could have ordered the release of those files at any time after he took office, like he did with those involving the assassinations of JFK, RFK & Dr. King.

Why does it matter?

Describing the murder of Charlie Kirk as an "assassination" gives Kirk a status that he did not have and does not merit. It also makes this instance of death by firearm seem unique, rather than yet another murder of this type in a society that refuses to deal with the issue.

Your daily reminder that Trump only protects/defends/supports/cares about people who pledge their allegiance to him.

Oh, isn't it fun when a Gulf serial killer invites a murderous tyrant over to tea?

He absolutely does. Without any doubt in my mind.

"Things happen," Trump makes light of the fact that Khashoggi was hacked into pieces. An evil man condoning the evil act of his guest.

This has been occurring all year under this fascist regime. The typically larger holiday church attendance just makes it easier for them.

Is this an admission that “the worst of the worst violent criminals” all spend a lot of time at church? 🙄

Honestly, I would make this a big part of the campaign against MAGA. Most Americans would not support this at all. Violating the church as a safe space... that really would anger a lot of people

Latest example of Republicans being rape-enabling weirdos: When Andrew Tate landed in the US, CBP seized his electronic devices. But a Trump White House official told DHS to return the devices, emphasizing that the request came from the White House. www.propublica.org/article/andr...
The White House Intervened on Behalf of Accused Sex Trafficker Andrew Tate During a Federal Investigation
Federal authorities were chided for seizing electronic devices from Tate and his brother, and told to return them, records and interviews show. Experts said the intervention was highly inappropriate.
