It’s strange how life can throw something devastating at you and something amazing at the same time, from completely different directions...

But on the other hand...
After five years of unemployment, I finally landed a job — one that honestly feels almost too good to be true, but apparently isn’t. I’ll be signing the contract next week.

Sorry not sorry, but that narrative of fan art being considered a lesser art form is a HUGE pet peeve of mine.
The only thing that will make you good at art is creating art. EVERYONE starts by copying, looking at references and such — you may as well do so while paying tribute to something you love.

Feeling sad is a normal part of being human—just like how clouds drift through the sky, our emotions come and go too. You don’t have to fight your feelings or feel bad for having them. Instead, you can notice them, accept them, and trust that they won’t last forever.
