05/01 – Thunderbolts*. I fell off the MCU wagon a while ago, but was real curious about this one. It had great reviews and two of my faves (Bucky & Yelena), so I gave it a go — and I’m so glad I did. A thoughtful, emotional, character-driven found family story that’s still funny & action-packed. A+!

Learned a fun fact today... Two of my favorites EVER share a birthday (yes, first time I've noticed. I'm good with birthdays, but awful with release dates).

02/06 - Touch Your Heart. Wholesome, funny, and free of those long, drawn-out misunderstandings that are so common in romance dramas. If you don’t mind corny and want to see the sweetest love story, two leads with amazing chemistry, and an equally charming cast, be sure to give this one a try 🫰🏻

02/01 - Time to Hunt.
A very interesting dystopian thriller with a great cast, excellent camera work, and stunning use of color that does an amazing job of building and maintaining a tense, suffocating atmosphere. I think it’s a real shame it couldn’t be enjoyed in theaters, if you ask me.

01/31 - Hospital Playlist. A story about the daily lives of five doctors in their 40s that have been best friends since their medical school days, and now are colleagues in the same hospital. One of the most recommended friendship-focused k-dramas and with good reason, believe me 🩵

01/23 - Prison Playbook. Believe every good word you read about this drama: it's a real gem. A beautiful story about hope, about finding friendship and kindness in the most unexpected places, about not giving up on your dreams, on love, or on others.
Instant comfort show — it truly stole my heart 🩵

01/08 - Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area (TV series)
Disclaimer: haven't seen the og Money Heist yet (I know! But I really wanted to watch this version & wanted to be as unbiased as possible while doing so)
That being said: I'm in love with both the show & its cast. That's my honest review.

01/05 - THE FIRST SLAM DUNK (movie).
Watched this with a friend who's a big fan of both Slam Dunk & basketball. I'm pretty neutral about both, and yet I loved every minute of this movie. Breathtaking animation, super well-written flashbacks and a game that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Halfway through the magic numbers... sort of. Heh.
