And in a classic case of adhd back to back unrelated posting, is there a git system for moderation lists? I get why labels don’t make sense but I can see use cases to check out one point in time of a list and then see who was added this week and make sure it’s still accurate

So I’m aware there’s some scientific stuff with breeding that keeps dogs as breeds not species apparently, but I don’t think Darwin studied the breeding of all those finches? And a lot of other animals *can* cross-breed so why is a finch a new species because of its beak but a chihuahua is a husky?

Reddit has been no help so I may as well ask here too, does anyone know what specs I would need to host my own feed? Network, CPU and storage are all considerations, and does my server just respond with a filter to apply, or does it need to be potentially actively processing each post?

Looking to make an FPS game sometime, was thinking about movement today. For a cross between valorant and titanfall/apex, would movement be better as physics based or translation based (no momentum)

One thing I'm learning to love about this app is that if I see something that upsets me, I don't like, or I'm just not in the mood for I can mute it, add it to a list, block it, whatever and it's gone immediately. No refresh, no caching, no give me 5 minutes, it's just gone. Amazing.
