unfortunately one of their number literally owns the platform they post on, and it turns out that makes a huge difference
The nucleus of this crowd numbers in the thousands, perhaps a few tens of thousands *generously*. The only reasons they're tolerated are that the nature of online platforms allows a loud clique to sound big, & a much larger ecosystem gets paid to reinforce it & pretend it's big
it is impossible to overstate the extent to which this country is now being run by people you would leave a party rather than talk to for five minutes
