Impressive observational findings:

vaxed pts cf unvaxed survival (months)

• stage 3+ Ca lung: 37.3 cf 20.6

• metastatic melanoma: 26.7 cf ≤ 40

• biggest benefits in pts expected to resist immunotherapy

• no such benefit from other (eg flu/pneumonia) vax types

Last night's harvest moon

Autumn fireworks
A landscape mode photograph taken in some formal gardens, locally. It's a view through a row of lime trees towards an obelisk surrounded by ornamental grasses, nearly as tall as the obelisk itself. The obelisk is grey and almost unnoticeable, whereas the golden yellow grasses are lit by the morning sun, and with their feathery tips, look like sparklers. The upper half of the picture consists of the dark green tree foliage and the lower quarter dark green grass in shade. Behind the grasses and obelisk are some brick-faced buildings, also in shade. Since virtually everything else is dark, in shade, or both, the grasses are dramatically highlighted.

The conker season has begun!

(7kg collected so far, part way through day 5 of collecting)
