No me conmovió.

... we can also go back. Put on a record and lie in bed just listening to it. Really listen to it. And think about what an incredible luxury this is, considering that for most of human history you could only listen to music that was live. It sounds really duh, but it's a good reminder ;)

I often think, as I cue up Netflix once again, the kinds of entertainment available to my grandparents. How listening to the radio was a thrilling indulgence unavailable to their own parents. How having television was a wild, fantastical treat. We're so glutted with media now that we forget that...

Going chronologically by release date, so starting with A New Hope. Just discovered I've been mixing up R2D2 and CP3O for years 😆 And when Chewbacca appeared I went 'Ahh, Jabba the Hut'... lol

SO strange you ask that, because I have literally just read Light from Uncommon Stars, and loved it.

Me too. When it's an even exchange like that, you get to do a little monologue (which sometimes can be horrible, but in this context they make sense!) and get all your thoughts out. And then do something in between. Sometimes it's less cognitively taxing than a phone call too.
