Well, some of my super damaged fruit trees got a VERY hard prune yesterday. With the added joy of a couple of arsehole roses taken out of our prime food growing space.

At 11 a.m., one of the birdbaths still had a layer of ice. A friend is on her way with chainsaws for getting rid of some roses and hard pruning of other trees. Luckily, I have soup in the slow cooker. :/

We have had many tape decks over the last 10 years. We are hoping this one will last a bit longer. First tape off the rank, Kizzamatronica Partymixonica 10. Last year's birthday mix tape.

The biggest surprise (to me) of the election. I am hoping Lisa crawls back. Mount Alexander local gov area that bucked the trend of Bendigo electorate, which bucked the national trend. I am proud of Mt Alex, but fearful of what this means for our electorate.

It is sooooo good. We have done one load of towels, and they cone out so bloody well. They were used to mop up the gunk under the old machine and was heavily stained. One of the fast settings cleaned it all perfectly.

T-Bone has been buying most of the new things as he has the moolah currently, but I am doing my bit by researching the couch, washer/dryer, vacuum cleaner, coffee table, rug, and skip. I am tired.

Today is couch day! James, the Scottish handyman, is coming to assemble the furniture! Yay. :) Hamish will be happy. He isn't happy with the outside chair interim measure.

I am watching the fire in The Grampians quite closely. Currently, my stepmum's place is only at 'stay informed'. But this could change at a moment's notice. 15ish years ago,the properly burned to the ground. I can't imagine the family going through it again.
