Covering the courts for nearly two decades, I've never seen a federal judge tell the government in exclamation-point-punctuating exasperation that an executive order violates the vision of the Framers.
Another federal judge STRIKES DOWN Trump's order targeting a law firm for political retribution — this time, using exclamation marks twice in the introduction to emphasize that the executive order is against the Founding Fathers' vision.

BREAKING

A federal judge on Tuesday ruled that President Trump’s attempt to punish an elite law firm associated with his political opposition was unconstitutional and directed the government not to enforce an order Trump signed in March that had threatened its business.

The judge concluded that the firm was targeted over its association with Robert S. Mueller III, and that the order “must be struck down in its entirety.”

A lot of blame going around for Trump escaping criminal accountability. But let’s be real: John Roberts & conservatives on the Supreme Court own this. They intentionally protected Trump: ignoring the facts, twisting the law and — for the first time in history — making an American president above it.
