Day 8: velociraptor
Despite being a Dino nerd all my life, and an artist all my life, outside of my childhood I never really drew dinosaurs. So this has been a fun experience (and a lot of research) I think I goofed and made the tail too flexible but overall, I'm happy!

When we got the DAV launch date I created a countdown widget on my phone and I haven't been able to bring myself to remove it and as we come up to one year since launch I've been wanting to do something to celebrate, but my work has been striking so my spoons are very limited

I had heard about Dear Esther a while back and this rainy Sunday finally seemed like the perfect time to play it. The game is the first of its genre, considered a "walking stimulator" where the player simply explores while the story is revealed in voices fragments of letters

It was actually supposed to be even bigger originally 😂. The concept art by @nickthornborrow.bsky.social they had lots of plans for the guy that unfortunately didn't make it, from what I understand he was scrapped before he was completed, but some of the team rescued him for ambient fauna

My grandmother passed away Christmas 2023 and going home this summer I was tasked with digitizing 11 photo albums and many standalone photos. Among the albums I found this, it's so ominous I have no idea where it came from, the original was written on a typewriter and it was photocopied. A mystery
