Had a ghost cat at our old place too -- almost like a house spirit. I'd get glimpses of him throughout the day but the dogs didn't seem bothered.

I feel like they got it backwards, because every pennsylvanian knows that a piece of good sharp cheddar melted onto a piece of apple pie is a thing of culinary beauty, but putting the apple on macaroni is a fail state waiting to happen. semolina is not pie crust.

Mine’s nomadic. It’s been spotted hiding behind the kidney and the uterus and I wish I knew what moved it around. Does it love spicy food? Certain exercise? And where do I want it to be?

Every time a doctor goes looking for my left ovary by palpating my abdomen I say “you didn’t find it did you?” And they glare at me because they weren’t going to say anything. And I’m like “last seen on scans it was behind my kidney so good luck with that”

I wish I could be there in 1000 years from now when someone in anthropology or “postmodern English” comes across a compound contraction like y’all’d’ve qnd tries to figure out if it’s a foreign word.
