Does anyone doubt trump is manipulating the market with these tariff announcements and his family and cronies are cashing in.

@melbournefc.bsky.social never fails to deliver on its fan’s expectations. 1 quarter in turnovers everywhere and losing by 19 points.

It is telling that US companies will happily sue the federal government to be free from regulation so they can pollute more and rip off customers but won’t do it to protect minority and disadvantaged employees

I know it’s always been projection but wasnt MAGA fearmongering about a rich liberal elite i.e Soros secretly running the govt? Is it ok now with a billionaire running the govt because he’s theirs or because it’s not secret??🤫

If you want to understand how perverse global capitalism has got. Chaos in the US caused by Trump is predicted to drive global stock prices down, as money is withdrawn due to risk. The analysis is money will flow into US dollar - the currency of the govt causing the risk to global business. 🤦

Listening to various post mortem analysis of Dems election loss. I’m struck by a couple of things. It’s hard to compete when the other party engages in bad faith always. The GOP has a huge incentive to keep the voters uneducated. Doing away with dept of education is a re-election strategy
