I’m not sure that I agree attention spans are somehow more lacking in just three years time. I think a bigger problem is that assumptions are being made that players won’t pay attention while having suits too afraid to let players wander a bit.

I met him at Rhode Island Comic Con last weekend. The only thing I got out of him is that Liev Shreiber is doing live-action stuff. Otherwise, he doesn’t know anything about the remake or a continuation.

It’s the OG game with widescreen support and some quality-of-life changes. They also upped the rendering resolution so it looks cleaner.

Sometimes I talk to myself, but it really depends on how frazzled my brain is at the moment. If I simply cannot think, I need to vocalize my thoughts or they'll be lost.

Navi was never an issue for me. The problem comes many generations later when characters started to shout out solutions to puzzles before you even got a look at the room. At least Navi waits a bit before chiming in.

I can't knock Sony for expanding in the west, but I've always felt it was either ashamed of or discouraged by its Japanese heritage. It's weird to see such a big shift from a company that launched a console which felt firmly Japanese 30+ years ago.
