Reposting for any #Discworld fans - a little while back, I wrote a little bit of fan fiction in response to a question posed by the excellent #Pratchat podcast where the the origin of the Igors was raised.
It's not perfect, but I'm happy with how it turned out.

If you are "moving at pace and breaking things" then I guarantee that 90% of the time you're creating issues for people further down the line to fix. This isn't the way to be operating as a human being unless you're knowingly choosing to be an arsehole.

If you run a business and get AI to design your logo, you are advertising to the World that you would prefer to have a shitty logo in order to save a few hundred quid and would be likely to cut corners elsewhere in your operation.

I've oddly been reflecting on The 1975 Australian Constitutional Crisis a lot today.
I think, despite being #auspol, it has one really relevant lesson for politicians of all nations today:

Just discovered #Affinity (now owned by #Canva) have removed purchase a perpetual license for v2, shut down the v2 add-on store, and made v3 freeish (some features - looks like mostly AI? - behind a subscription).
Not yet brave enough to download v3.
