Watched the Great Dictator tonight for the first time in... 15 years? 20? It has been a WHILE.

It was simultaneously a hard watch and a cathartic one. I cant believe how much of this satire is way too close to the bone in 2025. But I love that hope will always endure.

Also me every year: why must I suffer the consequences of my own stupid actions?

Started watching Bergman's FANNY AND ALEXANDER today for the first time. Decided to do the TV version instead of theatrical and break it up over multiple days.

#Filmsky did I do the right thing? Part 1 was a quiet setup as far as I can tell. Should I just watch the theatrical or continue with TV?

My mom, nearly 80, went to the No Kings protest in my hometown in Ohio. I've never been prouder of her than I was today when she told me.

It is wild to have spent the last five months working nonstop on shows and then to wake up one morning and suddenly... not be?

I mean, grateful for some free time to finally relax after pushing myself to the limit but...

Will someone please explain to me why every two years I have to buy a new silverware set because Ive somehow lost all my spoons?

Not forks. Not knives. Just my spoons.

Today is the 26th anniversary of the premiere of THE WEST WING.

It might be time for a revisit after I open my show, because I desperately need Jed and Leo to show me the way once again.

It's been a long time since I've woken up at 5am for anything other than catching a flight.

First 5k race in 6 or 7 years! My all-time best was a 17:48 when I was 19-20. 20+ years later, I'll be happy if I can run under twice that time!

Sometimes when I wake up, my cat's favorite stuffed fishie toy is lying on my face, and she is staring at me threateningly. I think it's her way of saying: "I could have killed you in your sleep, BUT I DIDN'T. So feed me NOW."

And honestly, it works 100% of the time.

I can NOT tell you how happy this makes me! I've seen Angel out and about and always hoped he would find Bam Bam, but feared the worst. I am SO happy to have some good news for once!

And I hope whoever stole this sweet pup is found.
