It takes an average of 7-10 years for a person with #endometriosis to get a diagnosis. That’s too long.

This #EndometriosisAwarenessMonth, let’s push for better education and healthcare policies right here in Pennsylvania.

this is straightforwardly an effort to try to re-segregate the officer corps
Trump and his Secretary of Defense nominee have proposed purging military officers they view as too "woke."
A Heritage funded group is proposing names: offers who served on a DEI panel, or written about race, or sought to recruit at a historically Black college.

Couldn’t agree more. We also as a collective really need to stop using social media as a grievance board. I think it’s negatively warping people’s worldview instead of motivating action or change/solutions.
“Don’t feed the trolls” also extends to bad opinion pieces in papers of record.

They run them bc people react to them the most.

If we stop linking to bad columns and instead post thinkers we find valuable (& generate convo around it), incentives change.

It’s not easy and takes constant practice!

Almost 90 million eligible voters didn’t vote. That’s more than the number of people who voted for either candidate. We don’t just have an empathy problem, we also have an apathy problem. This is a problem that has to be fixed from the ground up.

Zaki: Cynicism gets treated as smart and socially savvy when it’s actually quite naive. People think, “Yeah, cynicism feels bad, but it’s the price of being right.” In fact, cynics often get things wrong.

Cynics are often all wrong about human nature
Cynicism is on the rise. Should that come as any surprise given today’s divisive global conflicts and our fraught political landscape? Even the weather seems like it’s out to get

Media/Press is super important to explain complicated policy to a very busy public and I wish they would’ve done stories like this sooner instead of waiting to boost their engagement post election.
Lots of stories about how mass deportations will spike food prices and cause inflation. But as Tom Bonier noted, only one published before Election Day...

So, where are the Blacks for Trump?

A cabinet should represent and reflect its people. This collection resembles an exclusive country club.

I have faced fascism before, in this very country. I was one of 120,000 Japanese Americans summarily rounded up and expelled from our homes at gunpoint, all for the crime of looking like the people who bombed Pearl Harbor.

I spent my childhood behind barbed wire. My parents lost everything. 1/
