Grasses up to my shoulders, wildflowers everywhere, birdsong and insects buzzing all around. Just metres away, the thrum of the motorway. A chalk meadow clinging on - a brief, defiant oasis in a system that rarely makes space.

They’re about to build 3,500 new houses next to it, here in North Herts.

I highly recommend this fantastic book by Nan Shepherd - The Living Mountain. It so beautifully shows the journey from bagging summits to ‘being’ with the mountain, truly embodying and connecting with and learning from her. Written in the 1940’s, it wasn’t published until decades later.

I look forward to the moment when individuals who identify as “anti-woke” come to understand that the concept of “woke” is a manufactured construct, primarily propagated by right-wing rhetoric to provoke outrage and divert attention from pressing issues that genuinely impact people’s lives.

Our Future-Fit leadership model has safety and capacity as core principles. We see capacity deficit seriously impeding growth and development, let alone performance and wellbeing etc. I’m interested in whether anyone in the #orgpsych #iopsych community has been researching this specifically?
