The My Hero Academia: Vigilantes anime started up earlier this week! I’ve been looking forward to an anime adaptation of it for years, and the first episode did not disappoint, minor (and necessary) changes and all! Looking forward to more episodes in the future!
I must have read all of Vigilantes over a dozen times by now it’s THAT GOOD. Several of those times were while the manga was still ongoing, but even so. I ordered this volume and the rest of them shortly after the first trailer for the anime dropped (over a year?) ago. I like it way more than regular MHA, which admittedly I dropped during the Vigilante Deku arc.

I still actually have the volume of it! My only complaint is that more of the clones didn’t survive, and or that Ultimate Spider-Woman only interacted with Peter, as far as I can remember. Maybe she interacted with other characters down the line idk.

I didn’t show it here, but Peter’s descent into being possessed was actually a bit of a slow burn over multiple issues of Spider-Girl. It began with him and Normie Osborn discovering a secret lab belonging to Norman Osborn, the latter’s grandfather, who had cloned Peter’s daughter. Coupled with all the questions and concerns that brought up, Peter may have been dosed with the Goblin formula when he first found out about the clone, until eventually leading to this. After possessing Peter Parker, the spirit of Norman Osborn sought to recreate The Night Gwen Stacy Died with MJ as well as the rest of Peter’s family (aka the wet dream of many current and recent ASM writers and editors. To accomplish this, he fused with April Parker/Mayhem, the half-symbiote clone? of Mayday Parker he created to form the magnificent glorious bastard you’re seeing. ALL HAIL THE GOBLIN GOD!!!

These could definitely use some polishing, but overall, I'm pretty proud. There is WAY more than this, but I'm leaving it at this for now. I hope people enjoy and if not, I'd love to hear your thoughts anyway!
