Ozzy Ozbourne died yesterday. RIP.
I’ve listened to a lot of his songs, with some of my favorites being War Pigs, Paranoid, and I Don’t Wanna Stop. If not for him, heavy metal music would not be what it is today. Rock on, you legend.

Brian Wilson of The Beach Boys died earlier today. I would listen to their music with my Dad whenever it came on the radio/Sirius XM. We actually went to a Beach Boys concert several months or so back. Thank you for everything, Brian, and may you rest in peace.

I’m saddened to hear about the passing of legendary writer Peter David.
Even in the midst of his health struggles, he was gracious and eager to engage with fans. While our community’s questions to him will never be answered, I hope our appreciation of him gave comfort to him and his family.

Sadly, my local comic shop went under last year, so my ability to enjoy Free Comic Day yesterday was limited.
However, GameStop was giving out free comics, so I can still safely say I got some comic goodies.
