Ike Turner, at a party at the Rock Hall in 1998. We were at the Sun Records exhibit that displayed equipment he used when recording with Howlin’ Wolf and others. Very friendly; we spoke for about 5 minutes and discussed his recording of “Rocket 88”. Only 5’7” which really surprised me.
