Feeling awful lucky to live where I do. Nature wise, not politically. Had a bobcat drinking out of our bird bath last night and a mature bull decided I was getting too close on my afternoon walk. Bad photos, but nice memories 😎

Seeing the tunnel that Ranger Pulaski guided over 40 desperate firefighters into during the 1910 wildfires was always on my to do list. Just outside of Wallace, Idaho and an enjoyable 4 mile round trip hike. All wildland firefighters should see this if passing by. #Idahofire

Seeing the tunnel that Ranger Pulaski guided over 40 desperate firefighters into during the 1910 wildfires was always on my to do list. Just outside of Wallace, Idaho and an enjoyable 4 mile round trip hike. All wildland firefighters should see this if passing by. #Idahofire
It’s our land they’re effectively trying to steal and “give to the rich”.
I don’t care if you ever look at another of my posts again if you will just please, PLEASE, watch this 2:14 second video, share it, and then actually contact your representatives and demand this doesn’t happen. This affects you whether you live near these lands or not. Thank you.

Another short duration road trip. First night Stanley Lake, then a friends house in Salmon and on to night #3. Tried for Big Pine C.G. (Montana) and it was a bust, some strange vibes from existing campers and off to find an old logging road in Fish Creek “State Park”. Quiet, isolated and clean.
