Let’s enjoy it while we can!

Honestly, nobody looks particularly strong this year.

Well, there does appear to be a team in Florence. So that might be a reason to plan the trip and start looking around. ⚾️

Yes. I’m glad you did. I had always wanted to try, but never managed. But it obviously didn’t spark a need for more. I can always come home for a visit and get as much baseball as I want.

If you are really interested in foreign travel and baseball, I would recommend Japan. I’ve been to a few games over the years during work trips, and they are fun, and also good quality. And Japan is a beautiful country to visit (as is Italy). Hope this helps.

The satellite TV (Sky) shows many sports and you can even occasionally get MLB in season, but I have never heard of a single Italian baseball game being broadcast. So yes, you can go see a baseball game, but I cannot guarantee the quality.

There is baseball in Italy. But even as a lifelong fan, I have only ever been to 1 game. And in a country crazy for sports (soccer, tennis, basketball, volleyball, and many others), I don’t think most people are aware baseball exists. 1/

For perhaps obvious reasons, I don’t love No Kings.

Are you stopping off in Rome to visit Keats and Shelley before heading back to Baltimore?

Is this your subtle way of asking me to send you some pasta??

How nice that these “Good morning Bluesky” are actually coming in the morning. Welcome to Italy. But still, missing Domino Sugar on the harbor.
