Andrew Yang lauding the Donkey Defection (blog.andrewyang.com/p/the-end-of...) is his worst take yet. The GOP faced a trilemma: eliminate the filibuster, grant concessions, or take the blame for a holiday shutdown. Democrats had a royal flush and folded.
The End of the Shutdown
Well the shutdown is substantially over as 8 Democratic Senators voted to reopen the government on Sunday.

Fellow protest goers: now is the perfect time of year to pick up a silly costume to wear while protesting.

The #shutdown "impasse" is pretend.

The #gop could end the #filibuster with two majority votes, no Democrat concessions required. I can't believe no one is talking about this.

I thought this prompt would be easy. But #Sora2 forgets who is being chased, duplicates the wet child, and changes their outfit color. sora.chatgpt.com/p/s_68e1ddd3...

"Ooh... baby ... it's so hot when you write kanji with all the strokes in the correct order."

I think #Sora2 was trained to avoid Modron porn.

I tried giving Sora this instructional diagram from Wikipedia. It made the drawing worse: sora.chatgpt.com/p/s_68e1c3b5.... It probably focused on the middle of the image rather than on the sequence of frames, leading to the strange crop.

I got access to Sora 2 today. It has trouble writing its own name (空 is pronounced "sora" in Japanese and means sky) sora.chatgpt.com/p/s_68e1c13c....
kindlyone on Sora
Make an instructional video showing how to handwrite the character 空.

In "On the foolishness of natural language programming", Dijkstra overlooks the fact that almost all programming is natural language programming. Someone converses with the developer in natural language to iterate and create the desired functionality.

My kids are enjoying the new Minecraft update.

"Gloriously stupid!" they say.

Only intellectual property law and a small piece of code in the iTunes track prevent everybody on earth from owning every piece of music ever made.

Apple's mission statement, properly expressed, is to prevent the abundance of music.

I've started my first project with Cursor.ai. It isn't good yet. 5 hours to get a stub of the Python application building successfully - and mostly it would go off on the wrong track and I needed to fix it manually.

When I used Blue Bird, I tried to have a balanced feed with intelligent people arguing for many sides. Unfortunately, the right-wingers I followed by name (e.g., Geoffrey Miller) aren't here.😞 I'll keep looking.
