Wait, so I’m not going crazy in that the steam machine existed before right?
Like yeah the first time they weren’t made by valve and were more like partnerships with PC manufacturers but, this is more of a reboot of the hardware than a totally new release right?

So I'm not super well versed on music genres, but does anyone know what genre that the bands Chon and Floral would be considered?
I was thinking math rock, but not all their music has complex time signatures like I thought math rock had, so I'm not sure what it would fall under

Finally got a proper server rack! I was also able to reorganize to make a nice sort of mini maker space in the basement

Been thinking about another personal project to work on
Basically recreating 8-tracks, but as a cartridge instead of tape
You can plug it into your computer via a reader I'd make and drop an album of MP3s onto it like a flash drive, then just insert the cartridge into a player to play the music

It was a pain to figure it all out myself so hopefully documenting it will make it easier for someone else in the future if they wanna mess with it

As much as mastodon was a huge pain to use last time I tried running my own single-user instance, I might try and set up an instance again and host it myself
Only thing is I'd need to buy another server, since my current one is already running quite a few applications and I'd need the power/storage
