Looking for advice on accommodation in London and Paris. We are travelling for a relative's wedding in September-October. The low Aussie dollar makes most of the accommodation well over $1000 for 3 nights in each city. Anyone out there have any recommendations for more affordable options?

Just renewed my passport. $398, and not sure when I will be travelling OS again. But renewing is less hassle than letting it expire. Hopefully I will use it before it needs to be renewed again.
