In my infinite rage at the one hour and twenty minutes I spent practicing this.

I of course spend an hour and forty minutes editing this compilation of skill issues.
it at least helped show me some bugs to fix.

I had this crazy dream, where one of the enemies I had designed for this game was fighting off a bunch of wyverns in a free fall, not only plummeting through the sky, but they were straight up launching javelins with their legs and being cool all the while.

I actually realized there was a better combo I could do that allows me enough height to do a double aerial dive + sliding in a lil cheesy backflip.
so for "funsies" (I practiced about an hour and 12 minutes)

Here, Take this combo clip I did after 40 minutes of failed attempts
(The up slash into spike into up slash is what killed me most)
(I had to splice out a single ugly mis input)

I like to give this combo the imaginary name "Swallow's Dive"

Eh, casual post time.
my last post was me "feeling" out a combo. which is usually me opening aseperite and just animating with the flow
my other work flow for attacks is to deliberately plan out how they connect

after spending so long working on that earlier piece, I had fun making some animations again.

This time, I tweaked the old upwards aerial attack, splitting it into two parts (spin into a cleave)

and then I added a new spike attack!
