This silly old lady (foreground, fluffy white belly, an 18 year old tabby cat named Taz) just had two emergency vet visits in two days, but is doing much better today. The orange cat in the background is just fine, if perpetually hungry.

Went to visit and it looks like something in the magnolia family: not sure if you saw these pods starting to form. My plant app says likely a Cucumber tree (magnolia acuminata)
