Go see Suffs before the Jan 5 close, about the fight for women’s suffrage. They also address the racism of the movement that’s lost when we celebrate the passing of the 19th, as it took decades for non-white women to get the right to vote. This fight is so recent and our rights are not guaranteed.

Thankful to have @marcelias.bsky.social and @democracydocket.com as we enter this new stage of 🇺🇸. Because the fall of democracy can happen here, and the signs are troubling. Media failed us over the last 4 years and a free and independent press is critical in preserving our nation.
Perhaps more of the legacy media should have pushed back on his lies at the time. @democracydocket.com did.
