Not a coat factory… or am I?
Made this breakfast casserole with sausage, broccoli, and hash browns. It was good and made a lot of leftovers.

Chicken burgers last night. Had intended to grill them along with the potatoes and peppers but it looked like rain. I liked them, there are a LOT of flavors going on in the patties (lemon juice, Italian seasoning, mustard, smoked paprika). I think perhaps the recipe could use some edits.

Made this pasta over the weekend with leftover chicken bratwurst and grilled peppers. Tossed in a big tomato from dad’s garden. The sauce was sort of a Cajun Alfredo. I was not mad about eating it 4 times this week.

Playing catch up with some other July recipes. Crescent cheesecake bars (forgot to get a “before” pic), pickled garlic scapes, and an Orange Julius.

I may be on vacation but the new recipes don’t stop! Here’s some cannoli dip I made. I’ve eaten it many times, but never made it myself. 👍🏻👍🏻

This thread is all over the place, time-wise. 🤷‍♀️
Anyways, these satay grilled chicken thighs (NYT recipe) were good! Not too spicy. I was happy to have another use for the fish sauce I bought a while back.

Salmon in Potato Case from Jacques Pepin. Mine were certainly not as pretty as the ones in the cookbook but it tasted good!

Lentil stuffed peppers! Quite tasty and affordable (even more so if you don’t buy peppers at the farmers market). Adapted from this recipe- www.killingthyme.net/vegetarian-s...

Chicken galbi Noodle salad from the NYT with variations. It was ok, a nice light dinner. I do wish it was a little saucier.

Another new recipe for a different Memorial Day bbq - Pão de Queijo. These were really good. If I made them again I may use a stronger cheese, like a Gruyère.

I think this thread got out of order at some point. Oh well!
On Sunday, made this corn/frito salad/dip to bring to a bbq, it was a hit! Didn’t get a picture so here’s the recipe link
