Was watching @hcrichardson.bsky.social and @jbf1755.bsky.social for a few minutes and their comments got me to thinking about the responsibilities of citizenship, comparisons to other countries, and the typical response of the Trumpian right.

A judge ruled that DOGE can now access sensitive Treasury Department systems, allowing its Musk staffers to interact with the Bureau of the Fiscal Service, which manages trillions in federal payments and holds private information on millions of Americans.

Elon Musk’s staffers are trying to access a vast database containing earnings information for nearly all U.S. workers. This database is maintained by the Department of Health and Human Services as part of the Federal Parent Locator Service, which is primarily used for child support enforcement.

Federal marshals forced entry into the US African Development Foundation and escorted Musk staffers inside, after agency employees resisted their entry. Once inside, they changed the federal agency’s locks. Musk staffers were seen plugging in an external hard drive and going through everything.

Please listen and share—this is a very serious situation. This is extremely alarming! The Trump administration, across two agencies, is considering bringing criminal charges against employees simply for doing their jobs.
