Bigots were mad when Star Trek Beyond portrayed Sulu as a gay man, but upon a rewatch of TOS S03E17 "That Which Survives," I've decided Sulu was always gay.

This scantily clad woman showed up and killed 3 dudes by saying "I'm for you."

Sulu wasn't taken in for a second.

I first read "Andromeda Strain" in the fifth grade. It was my first serious foray into sci-fi, and I was immediately hooked on Michael Crichton's books. I still quote "all scientists are blind" regularly.
