A wing of the party tried to take over leadership of it, and wanted to endorse him. Instead they nominated an actual libertarian who's been pretty good

(as someone incapable of seeing obvious jokes, sorry if this was one...)

Kinda? It's when you present an argument you don't necessarily agree with, but do so in earnest using the best arguments you can.

Or "no. Actually, the mayor of NYC makes more than that"?

As in @divestspd.bsky.social 's reporting is wrong? Or as in "that's bullshit and should not be true"?

76 Seattle police officers made over 300k

www.divestspd.com/p/nearly-400...

76 Seattle police were better paid than the mayor of NYC
Nearly 400 Seattle cops made over $200k in 2024
With 23 percent raises and backpay, a lot of awful cops got awful rich in 2024. Sleeping Sergeant Paige Maks raked in half a million, while prolific offender Zsolt Dornay took in nearly $360,000.

They finally reported. Was ~59% orange last year, was ~56% red this year. I'd attribute that 3% slip to "orange man not on ballot" before I'd attribute it to any electoral shift

Didn't look like the county I grew up in had reported yet... But it had been moving right since I graduated high school..love to know if that ever slows down

Tapping the sign: we ate waaay too much wall candy

We obviously ate waaay too damn much wall candy.
Based on the information we have now, young white men were more likely to support Harris than any other age group.

Man-O-Sphere garbage is clearly a problem but Gen X white dudes are more right-wing and far more likely to vote.

Warren Buffet invests in undervalued assets.

I invest in undervalued people.

Funny how both paths lead to BYD for the past decade.🤷🏿‍♂️

The training set for this resume data represents the accumulated and sustained market inefficiency of a highly productive workforce.

I was gonna suggest Jason Fensky as someone who might be able to connect you, but he doesn't seem to have a blusky account, just Twitter and Instagram

Glad to hear. The word “questions” might have needed quotation marks.

There needs to be a bad faith penalty in there somewhere.

The completely hilarious hypo would be if Texas also goes blue because they pushed too close to the edge and the election cycle tilt pushed them all over... (and then CA+VA+etc went further)
