Clicking through Google Streetview in my town, I can see so many places where a trumpet vine would be left undisturbed long enough to establish itself. You can’t get rid of these things once they they’re established. They’re US natives and hummingbirds love them! #NativePlants

Notes on American Senna (Senna hebecarpa)

Long-lived perennial, US native

Begin cold stratification in the fall (now!), plant ~2 cm deep in potting mix, leave outside all winter. These will germinate in spring. Transplant at 5 cm tall
