Keep in mind I am reading this back cover synopsis for the first time and simultaneously translating into English aloud as I read. The first few sentences were already a wild ride but I hit the 4th sentence and my brain broke. There is a sexy ornithologist. The birds in the title are not a metaphor.

This book mysteriously appeared at the nurse stations in the ED and some RNs asked me what it was about. Seeing the cover and reading the title I assumed aves, which means birds, was a metaphor so I flipped it over and read the synopsis while simultaneously translating to English. I was not ready.

Aritzia had a « meme sized » super puff at the store so obviously I tried it on.
TBH the marketing person behind this may be brilliant because I thought these coats were incredibly overrated but after trying this one on "for the gram" I’m slightly obsessed and will prob end up with at least 3.

Made a little award for a friend in the ED by themself who was scared about doing a blood draw but freaking crushed it with some explanations and encouragement (and roaring because they’re a Leo and Leo’s are strong). It’s fun when we get a little extra time to do something extra.

For ED nurses week management decided to to make GIANT thank you posters with our full names(!) and photos and post them in the department. Luckily any concern I had about my full name being visible to all was assuaged by the fact that they combined my first name with another RN’s last name and pic.
