Check out this magnificent floof I met at the corgi races last weekend! This good boi has different coloured eyes (heterochromia). 👁️

This post is in my FB feed and wow the comments about this initiative are (almost exclusively) full of angry men.

If you have feet that look like this, nail fungus is the least of your problems!

Asking Google about the newly elected NY mayor hasn't proved helpful. 🙄😄

A nature photographer I followed on Twitter needed a last-minute dogsitter for his corgi before he left on an assignment (as the arranged sitter had left him in the lurch.) Six years on, we're family friends. He's a great pal and so are his corgis!

Does anyone know where candy corn is available for sale in the greater Wellington area? 🙏
(I tried buying it online, but the delivery fee was crazy high.)

If it's taking two weeks to respond to customer emails, it's not because of "high volumes", it's because of deliberate understaffing by management. Especially when your parent company made over £26 *billion* in profit last year. They can afford to hire a few more admin staff.

Seen at a community kai stand this afternoon: a load of starting-to-rot, shrink-wrapped telegraph cucumbers - presumably 'donated' by a local supermarket. Sometimes there are boxes of badly bruised bananas and pears, which look only fit for pig swill. 🤢

I found this rare piece of Kiwi sporting memorabilia in an op shop this week and am auctioning it in aid of Palestine's children.
Please share the listing with your friends and networks! 🙏🙏🙏
It would make a great Father's Day or Christmas gift! 🎁

Stuff headline bending itself in knots to avoid saying "Chris Bishop caught spreading lies about Tory Whanau". Whereas, if the shoe was on the other foot, I'm sure they wouldn't hesitate.
(Also - did he apologise to her?)

For Mother's Day I asked my kids to bake me a chocolate peppermint cake, rather than buy me stuff. The last few weekends have been hectic, with one thing and another, but this weekend was quieter and today they delivered! 😍🍰

Wairarapa (and surrounds) folks, get thee to the Wairarapa College production of Chicago this weekend. It's an absolute banger - great singing, dancing, acting, costumes. I saw it last night and it was terrific! 🤩

I saw this plastic sign in an op shop today and genuinely thought it was in Spanish. 😂

Most cats steer clear of Max but this little black cat is fascinated by him and curiously follows and stalks him whenever we pass near the cat's house. 😄🐕🐈

Came down with a nasty respiratory virus last Friday. It repeatedly tested negative for Covid, so I tried out one of those new 4 in 1 kits that test for Covid, RSV and Influenzas A and B. Immediately tested positive for Influenza A. Which is a bummer - but good to know what I'm dealing with.
